Clothing analysis

Kendrick Lamar is a new and upcoming rapper of 2012, the clothes he are casual wearing implying that he has interest as such to be flashy hence the fact that he's wearing just a t-shirt on his music tour. Secondly on his t-shirt he has the logo 'TDE' which is the record company that first recognised Kendrick's work, he is therefore promoting the company. In conclusion what he wears is normal, casual clothing which connotes a similarity with people and implying that's all about the music not the appearance.

Wiz Khalifa wears just a t-shirt and a thin jean jacket which is also quite simplistic, he's not going over the top clothing wise. This in itself represents the transition with modern rap; connoting informal, casual and conventional to what people wear daily. Normally Wiz Khalifa has a vest whilst playing at a concert which further adds onto the informality. 

2 Chainz on the other hand is rather flashy which is a common convention to rappers in the game which expresses his wealthy manner. The things that they all have in common is the simplicity of clothing for instance 2 Chainz is wearing a plain white shirt.


In conclusion, having analysing what rappers of the modern day wear is that they tend to wear informal, simple clothing but however I can that i would want my model for the magazine to contain some form showing off as it brings a positive outlook towards the audiences.
